These terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Kings Langley Cabs. By booking a taxi and utilizing our services, you unconditionally accept the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
In this agreement, "kings Langley Cabs," "we," and "us" refer to the service provider, while "you" and "your" encompass any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
2.1 You are responsible for ensuring that you allocate sufficient time for your journey to reach your destination promptly. This applies to all airport transfers, where adhering to check-in times for flights is essential. kings Langley Cabs shall not be liable for any delays caused by your failure to allocate adequate time for your journey or your unavailability at the scheduled pickup time.
2.2 It is your responsibility to select a vehicle size suitable for the number of passengers and luggage. kings Langley Cabs does not guarantee the ability to transport excessive luggage. Please note that, regardless of a child's age, they will be considered as a single passenger.
2.3 Passengers requiring wheelchair access should specify their needs when making the booking.
3.1 kings Langley Cabs provides a quotation based on information provided by you. All prices, unless otherwise stated, exclude VAT, and if applicable, VAT will be charged additionally. We reserve the right to adjust the provided quote if there are significant changes to the planned itinerary.
3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and covers airport parking costs. Any waiting period exceeding this limit will incur charges at the standard kings Langley Cabs waiting rate. We make efforts to monitor flight details and adjust our service for delays, but this is not an obligation.
3.3 Upon accepting our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is crucial to review this confirmation thoroughly and ensure its accuracy. Failure to notify kings Langley Cabs of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs.
3.4 Payments for our services can be made using cash, credit cards, or debit cards.
4.1 You are responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Charges may apply for cleaning costs if the vehicle is soiled, damaged, or negatively affected by passengers.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking in the vehicle is not permitted.
4.3 All children in the vehicle should be securely restrained according to their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We cannot transport more passengers than allowed by licensing or insurance.
5.1 If you need to cancel your booking with kings Langley Cabs, please do so as soon as possible. Cancellations after dispatch may result in charges based on the driver's time and distance traveled to the point of cancellation.
5.2 For bookings made through our online system, cancellations before dispatch may incur charges.
6.1 kings Langley Cabs will make every effort to ensure punctual arrivals, but we are not liable for losses due to delays beyond our control. We are not responsible for any losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Your luggage is carried at your own risk.
6.3 In case of a vehicle breakdown during your journey, we will provide an alternative vehicle to ensure you can complete your journey as quickly as possible.
6.4 You will not hold kings Langley Cabs responsible for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any acts or omissions by anyone in your party.
6.5 No party involved can exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or wilful default, or for any matters deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or reject a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is put at risk due to abuse, violence, or damage from you or any passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
8.1 kings Langley Cabs may subcontract its obligations as outlined in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any of your rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 kings Langley Cabs may modify these terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. Please check these terms and conditions regularly to stay informed of any changes. Existing bookings will be executed at the rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle information in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement represents the complete agreement between kings Langley Cabs and you.
8.5 These terms and conditions do not confer any benefits or rights on third parties. No third party can enforce rights under this agreement unless otherwise stipulated in writing.
Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days from the pickup date of the booking. Claims and disputes submitted after this time frame may not be entertained by kings Langley Cabs.
